you can put road tires on the hardcrock and mtb tires on the marin...that was your question right?

Of course you can. I put Continentals town & country tires on my 930 for a couple of years for riding to work. Rolls much better than the MTB tires. Still have them on wheels to put on the FSR in case my wife wants us to do a road ride. She even has a much higher pressure, skinny tire on her mtb - because she really like the bike, but does mostly on road or multiuse path riding.

cool I am going to buy the hardrock comp disc and then put some road tires with good wheels on it if I need to ride on the raoad
