No. My friend just got a set of Kenda Klimax Lites at a claimed 345g each. He uses them with Maxxis Ultralite tubes at about 110g, which I also use and are great tubes. These tires are skinny, likely about 1.7", look like a cross tire, but look to be great on hardpack, non-technical trails.

Maxxis also has a tube called the Flyweight that is well under 100g, doubt it is very durable though.

Also, why do you want the "lightest" tires? If you aren't racing, or your trails are technical, don't bother. For fun riding the kevlar Fire XC's are great from all accounts I've heard, they have way to much drag for racing though.

Yeah i dont want a super thin lightweight tire. I do want a rim with some good tread and at least 2.00 in thickness. I do some technical trails but no racing. I just figured id get something pretty light.
