Hey, I have this 1 year old crappola bike, one that I got from Sport Chek for like 150 bucks when my specialized got stolen. Think this is a good POS to chop up? I have a bucketload of ideas, and I can get it anodized for nothing from work(i'm thinking gold).

If its aluminum, know that you can't weld on it with traditional techniques for steel, you usually need a TIG system to weld thin aluminum like that. But if your plan doesn't involve cutting the frame, or its made out of steel (which would make anodization impossible), then go for it!
