Recently when I'm hungry, I start to get a headache. Before my stomach just did its thing and got angry at me for not filling it, but it seems like it and my head joined forces to make me eat. After I eat, my headaches go away. What's the deal? Could it be related to increased biking? I'm not necessarally biking more miles, but I am increasing my work load. I've started real training (LT, interval, sprints, endurance, etc...), so I do suspect that it's related. But why? Could I possibly not be getting enough nutrients because I haven't compensated enough for my increased biking?

It could be a hypoglycemia headache (http://www.headaches.org/consumer/topicsheets/hypoglycemia.html). I used to get them when I worked out after skipping breakfast.

It's a good idea to carry an energy bar or gel and take it when you start to notice symptoms. My hands start to shake when I'm low on fuel.

I get angry when I get hungry. Curiously enough, once I get food in my system, all the anger just melts away....
