Dual control is what I presume you refer to as flippies. Hence that is not what the OP wants.
Rapid rise is the derailleur, not the shifter.
Most any shop can still get you either the shifters on their own or integrated with the levers.

You two posts sort of contradict themselves. The first you say you want pre dual control, and the second you say you want combined ones.

Prior to dual-control you could still get the brake lever integrated into one "pod" with the shifters.
