General Cycling Discussion - Any Michigan 24hour comments?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I have heard about a 24 hour PersonalBest ride in Michigan. I went to the website, but there is nothing about 2002 results.
Anybody know anything about this ride?

I don't know about the "PersonalBest" WWW site. What you might mean is the Wolverine 200. This is a 24 hour event on Belle Isle in Detroit, sponsored by the Wolverine Sports Club.
The island is closed for most of a weekend and camping is allowed. Cyclists can complete as many laps around the island as they can fit in 24 hours. The organizers give out patches for 50, 100, and 200 miles. I am guessing that 1 lap is about 5 miles.
It took place on May 19th this year. I did not participate because I had already comitted to a 10k that same day, and I was not really in shape for the whole 200.
This is the Wolverine Sports Club WWW site (http://lmb.org/wsc/), but it seems not to have been updated in a while. Possibly you could contact them for results.

That was in Grand Rapids, Michigan last weekend. Try http://www.n24hc.org/ for the website. I was in the area, but couldn't get away to see it.
