Hi folks, I'm Malc from the UK. I live near a town called Doncaster in the county of South Yorkshire, I'm 56 and have been cycling since I was 8 yrs old. At the moment I ride a Claud Butler Ravana ATB for solo rides and a tandem for rides with my wife Pat. Weve been tandeming for about 15 yrs, as my wife can't ride it seemed the right thing to do if I didn't wish to keep going it alone. The tandem is homebuilt, as are a few others in my possesion. Yep I enjoys building bikes from scratch! We do touring on the tandem, UK and some of the EU, mostly UK though, camping when we feel the need to stop. At the moment I am considering making a side-car for the tandem to pack one of my grand kids in for the odd day out, don't like those towed buggies, two kids were killed here last year when some stupid sod drove straight over them, said he hadn't seen the buggy!!! Hope this is going to be a long and happy relationship with the bike forums, and happy cycling. :) :)

Welcome from London, Doncaster eh, My wife lived in Richmond near Darlington. Cycled to the lake district and back from there, absloutley beautyfull country with just as nice people. Pretty hilly though and with a tandem, man your leg muscles must be the size of my waist by now. Anyhow glad you joined the forum.
