Hello,
I've got a multi part question, forgive me if this is naive. I have had very good experiences with this forum.
I have Sora components on a Lemond Cyclocross bike.
Questions:
1) My left/front shifter says "Shimano Sora Flightdeck TRIPLE". Yet I only have a double chainring. Is this a problematic situation? Triple shifter vs. double chainring?
2) I've been having lots of click noise in my bike although I seem to have the solution somewhat. In order to shift to the large front chainring I need to push the brake lever not once, but twice in order to get it in place to shift. This is a hassle and while I am used to it I certainly don't want to spend the time moving that lever two times. It makes my shifting far less efficient especially because I really avoid the small chainring.
How do I move the front derailer so that only 1 push of the lever puts it in the proper position? Is the problem generated by the Triple Shifter vs. Double Chainring? Thanks, MM
