Commuting - Boston Pics - Charles River Path

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I had to drive to and from work today, and it looks like I will have to drive tomorrow too, as I have a 6PM softball game and I just can't make it there in time if I bike. So this afternoon when I got home, I set out to get in 10 miles, but took the camera with me. I went around the path that runs on both sides of the Charles River. What a GORGEOUS ride. I'm glad I had the camera with me. I think I'll occasionally extend the commute to take this route on the way home. When it gets warm, the umm... "scenery"... gets better to boot.

I love Boston, one of my favorite cities. Thanks for the nice view.
Nice pics. I used to ride that path every day (from Belmont in to the South Station area), but I work in Cambridge now so I haven't been that way in a while.
It's a nice ride, but I like it better in the cooler months -- the path gets pretty crowded in the summer. Though I guess that gives you an excuse to slow down and enjoy the "scenery" :)
