Greetings from Diamondhead, MS, a "golf course community" (I dont' play golf) on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, about an hour east of New Orleans.
We have a 7.5-mile circuit around the development with enough hills and curves to be interesting. Add a trip to Tennis World and back, and you have a nice 10-mile ride. There are other diversions to make the route longer. Explore all the cul-de-sacs, for instance, or "culture sacks" as we call them here.
I just bought a Fuji Roubaix-Pro and am trying to break in a pair of Carnac Legend shoes so I can ride SPD-R cleats. Not sure I want to give up my comfortable Shimano touring shoes with SPD cleats, though. Choices, choices!
I have insomnia tonight. Maybe it's these darn bike shoes I wore to bed.
