I'm just dying to know what technical trails you've "bagged" on your tandem. I've done some great trails and I'd be curious to hear what you all have done!
And, while I'm on the subject (and since I've been stymied twice by hub failures)....
Anyone completed the Slickrock Trail in Moab?

We're moving to Utah, and may give Moab a go one day. We haven't come across anything too challenging over here, although my wife may say otherwise.

Technical trails? Around our local area, we have a great area for trails. On a solo, you can find a great number of trails that vary in difficulty or technicality. If a solo can do it then so can our Tandem. The only one I draw a line at is the full downhill course with the jumps that I will not take the Tandem over. The only point about all our trails is that to get to them, you have to climb, and there is no easy climb to the top.

If you are talking about tiring and difficulty-- Then the South Downs Way in 1 day. 100 miles along a track and is 95% offroad. Doesn't sound difficult till you realise only 15 hours of daylight, and 10,000ft of climbing. No great height on each climb, generrally around 200to 250 metres, but all the climbs are steep, some are technical, and some seem long.
