Foo - When do you wake up in the morning?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I get up 'round six. Good time to be awake. My moring routine is usually I get up, get dressed, eat, call my good freind (she gets up at frickin FOUR!) and get the awnsers to my HW and just talk about anything (todays topic was my cat) till the bus comes ("bout 7:30ish)

I'm usually up by 8:00. I really don't like to get up much earlier. I'm lucky my girl will sleep till 9 if I let her (and some Wednesdays when we don't have plans, we'll sleep til 10:00...which is awesome!!). We have to be out the door by 9:00 to either get her to pre-school or when I have a morning class. It's gonna suck when she starts getting up earlier. I have a friend that says, just wait...one day it's all gonna change and she'll start getting up at 6:00. NO THANKS!!!
If I've been drinking, I wake up at 3:30 am wired as all hell. I usually can't get back to sleep after that.

Get up and wake up are two different things. I don't think I truly wake up until I'm on my bike heading off to work.

Well, I don't get off work until 0630 or later so I don't get up until late afternoon or evening-anywhere from 1600 to 2030 or so. I don't usually make it to bed before 1000.

The alarm goes off at four; I'm usually up by 4:15; breakfast, shower, pack, some household chores to 5:00-5:15; read, computer, whatever until 6:00; then, off on the bike to work by 7:00. I'll start leaving earlier in a week, to be at work 6:30.
Early morning living is essential for me to enjoy summer desert living. I wish we gringos would incorporate a siesta into Sun Belt culture.
I wake about 7. Shower, dress, eat, watch some TV, then leave at about 8 to go to school :(

4-5AM most days. I find it physically difficult to sleep in beyond about 6.30AM, and have done so only once in the last five years.
Whenever. I'm usually up by 8am, but I'm going to be changing that soon. I prefer my early morning rides.

I'm just glad you didn't ask, "Where did you wake up this morning?" Answering that could lead to all sorts of problems.
6:41 am exactley, on school days. On other days i wake up at about 8:00-9:00 am. when I ride with my cousin 5:00 am

6:00Am on school days, unless I have to be there earlier. Then it may be 5:00AM.
But 5 is pushing it since I usually go to sleep at around 1-2AM.

Up at like 7:10. Shower, food, dressed. Out the door by ~7:45, sometimes later. At school plenty early for the 8:10 start.

This summer, with the campus at a more northern part of the city due to a recent move, getting up at 4am so I can be on the road, biking, by 5am (5:45am latest).

I became a morning person because of desert living myself. I grew up in Phx and in the summer if I wanted to ride I'd be on the bike just before sunrise. There were a few times when I'd get to a trialhead before the gates were open. I started liking the mornings a lot, so even if I wasn't riding I'd be up by 6. Now I'm not in the desert, but I've come to like the schedule. Sleeping past 7am is sleeping in.

Usually like 9:00 or so. My boss will call around then if he wants me to work at 9:30, and if he doesn't I might sleep in a little later.
Hopefully we'll start going on morning rides, and I'll get up in the 7:00 range then. Just can't get motivated to ride anywhere that early if I'm going by myself...

I am a night owl. 7+ Years of night shift did that to me + 3 years as an insomniac. I find it very difficult to sleep before 1am and even more difficult to wake up before 9am. Ideally, 9:30am to 10am is perfect.
I also work better in the evening. 6pm my brain starts firing full speed and I can clear out a lot of tasks. Takes me a good hour or 2 to clear the cobwebs in the morning.

I'm out of bed at 7:15 and at work at 8:00. I'd like to start getting up at 6 to go for a morning ride or run for a bit. And it would be nice to actually sit down and eat a breakfast every morning. I just gotta learn to say no to the weekday bar visits...

6 am on days i have to work, 10 on days I have school, and 2pm on days I don't have to do anything. my body hates me.
6 am except for june, July, August and September when it moves to 5 am.
That's one normal distribution we have on the results chart!!
04:00 is the usual time. If I sleep in (and thats highly
unlikely I sleep till almost 07:00.
During winter when I know I can't get rides in
I'll get up 03:30 and ride rollers for an hour or so.

Even though I work from home I get up at 3:45 every morning, my husband gets up at 3:30. I'm very much a morning person, like to get all my chores done, first thing I do is jump on my trainer and cycle for 45 minutes, then do stretches for about 10 minutes, take a shower and walk the dog for 45 minutes. Now it's almost 7 so I can start my other chores, washing clothes etc. I hit the sack at 8 pm, then start the whole routine over again, except on weekends when we sleep in til around 5:30 or 6 am
