Hey,

I passed up a deal to get a tektro (I think it's RX 4.0) bar end (sticks into the end of bullhorn bar) brake lever for cheap, and now I can't find any available individually anymore. I only need one - left or right, really doesn't matter. My old lever is shot. Does anyone have one, know where I can get one, or want to split the cost of buying a pair with me?

i'm pretty sure that gaansari at http://www.gaansari.com/ sells individual tektro bar end levers. i'd offer to sell you one of the pair i'm not currently using, but i'm kind of too lazy to deal with the shipping and ****.

Is it me or do these rattle like mad? I have the Nashbar versions/knockoffs after the DiaCompes I had bit the dust in an accident a while ago. Whenever I hit bumps the metal just sounds so sketchy and loose.

I use these 'momovelo style' on moustache bars of my ss coffee cruiser. Only problem is that mine aren't sprung, and the brake springs are barely strong enough to pull them back out. I had to upgrade to fancy brake housing and line it with some dry lube...super sexy, though.

Mine rattles like crazy too. Drove me nuts until I figured out it wasn't my headset rattling.
