Hello, I´ve just ordered a new frontwheel with a Schmidt dynamohub and on the stores suggestion a Sun Rhyno rim. Now when searching the net I ´ve found some reviews saying the Rhyno´s not for V-brakes, better to use with disc brakes. I have V´s and gets a little confused by the suggestion from the bike shop contrast the words from people using them.

Anybody have experience with these rims? Which rims do you out there commuting/touring prefer?

Well I am running them laced to Nuke Proof hubs. However I am using Magura HS 33's. I purchased them for their strength and durability. I have not since I built these wheels had to true them. If you are looking for strength overall over anything else these are a good choice. I see that you are in Sweden so let me make another suggestion to you check out Ambrosio. I sell them here in the u.s. and have never seen a more bombproof rim. In specific the CC 24. Alot heavier than the Sun, but triple walled double stainless steel eyelets. meant for DH and DS racing. Very heavy duty stuff. Using the Ambrosio hoops for commuting will be the last set of wheels you should need. They wil probably outlast the hubs.
