You're showing your age and lack of pop-culture knowledge too.

You must huck the school, and watch the entire Kung-Fu series...IN ONE DAY! On VHS if at all possible :D

Do it if you feel confident in your bike and your skills. It sounds like about the best setup you could ask for. What would have been pimp though was if you just hucked it, took a fid or some pics and posted it in the hucking thread like it was no biggie instead of making a big deal about it though. As you can see though, you've got the support of the members of the forum.

I wasn't trying to make a big deal, it just turned into one. I was only asking if anyone thought it was a bad idea.

I have been thinking about this for awhile: A nearby school has an awsome roof huck to tranny. The runup is about 30 to 40 feet, so that's pretty good (speed-wise). The landing is on a perfect slope so if I hit it fast enough I should land without injury. This is coming down to a matter of "do I hav the balls to do it?". Getting my bike on top of the roof is no problem since there is a tree nearby to climb up, so should I really do this on a hardtail? What does everyone think?

Excuse the crappy MS paint drawing :D

Only ballsy if you do it on a brand new six13.

I don't care. Just do it. I want that video!!! Then I could sell it on Ebay and make money out of other people's misory. I must sound like a cruel, sick bastard.
Why don't you practice by ditching an old bike off the roof first? You could see how it lands and take it from there.

Hey I never said anything about doing this anytime soon, I was going to do it in July because it's all crappy and raining right now. Can't anyone here wait awhile instead of saying: "he's not going to do it".

How about some admin closes this thread and re-opens it when he PMs them a pic? This bickering is pointless, and most of us know the outcome. The drop really isnt that big, if you really wanted to hit it, you already would have. When you wonder about things, you second-guess....which is bad. First day I got my bike I was so stoked I was goin off of stuff I never would. I found this nice little rock with no grass runway at all atmy school. The other side was the fence, and I had about a foot of clearance, all in all....a sketchy drop. The drop itself was only about 5 or 6 1/2 to flat cement, but the position and everything is what made it hard. I had to come at it form the side and carve into it. I landed it no problem as some friends were walking up.

Why are you asking advice from people on the internet. If you are thinking about a drop that you have to ask people about on the interweb, I think you shouldnt hit it. You dont have faith in yourself, and I can almost guarentee youre going to get hurt doing this. Make sure to get this on video so I can prove myself right. Good day.
