When I first test rode the bike ---I loved it except the bars were too narrow.
The only really wide bars the dealer had were the Bontrager Race-Lite drop bars with the oversize clamp width---but the only stem they had to fit the bars with that clamp size really stretched me out. The dealer ordered in a shorter stem and installed it--but it still wasn't "just right".
I decided I wanted the 70mm Bontrager Race-Lite stem to go with the bars-----talk about a hard animal to find----by chance I was in the shop when the Trek rep was in and they hooked me up. The part came in friday and was installed saturday---my new Klein now fits me perfectly.
The ride and handling are now superb---why I fell for the bike in the first place.
So happy I'm almost tearing up-----LOL.
