I need touch-up paint for my new Fuji Roubaix-Pro. The color I need is the beautiful, deep, royal (?) blue of the seat post, seat stays, and chain stays.

What I did so far was stop at Wal-Mart and buy some generic blue model paint. I used that to touch up a couple of spots and it did a pretty good job. You don't notice it unless you know where to look, but the paint doesn't match.

I plan to look for a better color at a local Hobby Lobby unless Fuji makes a matching paint. Any other ideas? Auto paint? Nail polish?

I have always used nail polish. You'd be surprised at the array of colors that you can get it in. You can pretty much match any color with it. Clear nail polish also works to seal areas that you don't want to risk having stand out by using the wrong shade of a color to touch up a scratch accidentally. I would just consider how big and where the scratch is when deciding whether its better to cover it with clear nail polish to seal it and live with it, or risk having the scratch show up more because the nail polish/touch up paint was the wrong shade.

If it is a new Fuji, ask the shop where you bought your bike. They can usually get touch-up paint for new bikes.
