i tore my saddle and need a new one i dont like the one i had now it was a KHS gelly seat but velo most likely made it. i didnt like it. it hurt my nads and butt too much.. what is a good quality seat and comfy (it doesnt need to be jelly) in around 30-40CDN

I've heard good things about the terry liberator and it is in you're price range. It has a cut-out too. Worth checking out.

i found a nice Selle Royale.. 40$ at my shop i put it on a road bike and forgot about it.. it was soooo comfy and it wasnt even leather. it fit right away when i tested the road bike.. i think i may buy that one

Although the selle royale fits me perfectly what is it that makes say Selle Italia cost so much compared to Selle Royale. Is there a quality difference or just a pathetic markup

Isnt Selle Royal used on the cheap s**t bikes or do they make higher end products as well.

I currently have a selle italia, and i think it reataisl for about 50$. Its nice, not too hard, and gives your nuts a break.

Its a Custom Selle Italia

I got a Serfas Full-Suspension saddle on Ebay for $10. Gel seat, cutaway and eleven springs make it a comfy ride and it also would make a fine anchor as well. My sore-bottomed friends always complained about the medieval Coda seat when they rode my MTB, so I slapped it on. Everyone's nads and butts are fine now.

a truely comfortable saddle is a bit like an honest politican, a mythical beast !i have a selle royal gel lookin saddle on my road bike & find it about as good as it gets, for me anyway!! they are used a lot by cannondale on their bikes(cheap???) i think the word selle means saddle in Italian ?
