General Cycling Discussion - "Official" Siouxland Trails Foundation logo.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Well it has been a long time coming but we now have an "official" Siouxland Trails Foundation logo. It already adorns our web site & will adorn anything else like foundation letter head, etc.

Let me take a moment to explain what the logo symbolizes. The green color, the arch & the purple blue color that the word "TRAILS" is, symbolizes the Veterans Memorial Bridge, a famous Sioux City land mark. It is one of the bridges that crosses from Iowa into Nebraska, over the Missouri River, which is what the wavy blue lines symbolize. One of our multi-use recreation trails, called The Lewis & Clark Trail passes under the bridge. And there is a pedestrian path that connects to the L&C trail & the trail in SOuth Sioux City Nebraska. This way people can not only drive across the bridge, but bike, walk, run & roller blade across as well.

Here is a link to our web site, please bear with us it is still under construction:

I welcome any questions, comments, etc.

So with out further ado, here it is:
