It looks like a great idea. I don't see any Illinois groups participating though. If anyone knows of a Greater Chicago area group doing this, please post it.

Derek. Love the idea. Don't think I can do much this year to sign up. I will try to do it alone and then maybe next year sign up. Thanks for the info.

If you want information on the Ride of Silence, it may be best to send an e-mail to Chris Phelan via the Web site www.rideofsilence.org. He'll have the most updated information and a flyer you can print and post around town. We are currently planning to meet at the fountain in front of Navy Pier to ride northbound, as per Chris's suggestion. Unfortunately, I also recently read something online about a group meeting at Daley Plaza, but we are hoping to consolidate the two groups and meet at Navy Pier. We hope you'll join us and help spread the word.
