I got a pant our suspension hub and got a 20” wheel built with it from my bent. I bought it in Feb and here in Portland or for some reason we did not have any rain in two months. I my have gotten 5 miles in the rain. Well I found the bearings felt like they were over tightened. Well this hub uses sealed cartridge bearings and there is no adjustment for that,. So I call them up and they have me send the wheel to them. I paid for the postage. It took about a month to get it back. They had to call my mechanic to verify that the hub was only a month or so old. Well they said the bearings looked like they had no grease in them at all. (At first I think they thought I had the hub for 5 years the way the bearings looked. So I get it back and put it on. It is a bit slow because you have to change the tire the magnet and readjust the brake pads. Well I rode about 30 miles in the rain (ten miles each time) and today I notice the grinding again.
So what they put defective bearings in again?
So what do I do I don’t want to have to pay return shipping again. I wonder how much it would cost to have a local bearing shop install new good bearings. Should I get them to pay for it?
