Does anyone have any info or experence with this brand? How's the quality? THANKS

Really depends on the rim (repeating info from fixedgear forums). As a brand the quality varies.

I have a huge Saavedra deep v rim (imported by EAI under the arrow brand) on my rear and it rocks. Heavy, but its handled nails, debris, drops, skipping and skidding perfectly for the last five years. No braking surface, really nice mirror finish.

I really like it and its held up better than any other rim I've ever owned and under a lot more abuse.

Are you asking because a certain seller has some damn cheap tubular rims from Saavedra? I have no idea about those particular rims but the price is very tempting.

Sorry Judah, they lied to you. I was just in their shop picking up a set and they have two, 4foot high stacks of these things. Both clincher and tubular, even black ones.

Oooh, they have more of those deeeep V, polished "Arrow super-turbo" rims? If so, I want four, polished, 36 hole rims. Let me know how much they are and I'll paypal you money. The rims I have will not build true :(

I want to see photos of these rims. I can't seem to dig anything up on the good ol' internets.

yah, seriously... lets see some decent pics of these rims. if they're that hot... i'm not seeing it yet.

Judah, how about popping off a few quick shots of them and posting?? Also, who do you have building yours up now, and to what hubs??

I tried to have Road Rage build them to Suzue NJS hubs, but they can't get a straight build out of them because of a few off-center holes. You can come over and check them out, they are beautiful. Aluminum so polished you can do your hair in them, and absolutely *no* brake surface, not even any flat, just one big curve from the apex to the edge of the rim....
