Just came across this press release. Thule bought the Quick-Load line from Sportworks. If I could get a trailer-hitch bike rack, this is the one I would get. The family of Quick-Load bike racks are really well rated over at MTBR.com.

I've been going crazy trying to get bike racks for my car. My OEM cross beams are too specialized and I cannot install a Thule or Yakima. Someone did tell me that Thule does have a line of specialized bike racks for certain weird car rack configurations and I came across the above press release when I was over there looking for it.
I would prefer to get the trailer hitch style but my car doesn't have a trailer hitch and the only kit I could find requires that the hitch be bolted to the spare tire floor. Not a big fan of that even if most cars today are unibody.
