Books, Movies, Music & Entertainment - What magazines do you Read?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I don't know about everyone else, but I hate trying to read long articles on my monitor. Just not a comfortable long-term position for me. Of course, I could just print stuff out and kill less trees.
Hmm...
Subscriptions:
Car & Driver
U.S. News and World Report
Consumer Reports
PC Gamer
I used to read/subscribe to:
Dragon
Wizard
Toyfare
Bike
but I got too much to read already. I'm really just waiting for all my subscriptions to expire--except for CR and PC Gamer(my wife reads this, but it's in my name and I flip through it occasionally).

damn right, online articles are not nearly as good as reading it from a magazine. I guess I'm old fashioned. Plus it seems like a lot of them are poorly written or not quite up too par.

Yeah, I think part of it is being used to reading books/magazines made of paper in the first place. Of course, it takes less work(not to mention less vetting) for some websites to publish articles/editorials and have millions(or at least dozens) of people see it rather than having material printed and bound.

My only subscription right now is Pro Cycling. I like it a lot more than some of the other biking related mags. I got really fed up with some of them who just recycle old articles every few months ("GET STRONGER LEGS", "BE READY FOR SUMMER" etc...)

Damn right. Not that I care particularly about trees, but magazines are too heavily laden with ads, and I try to avoid them if I can. Paying for them is utterly absurd.
As for the writing quality of online articles, I don't think they're any better or worse than most magazines.
And as for reading in the head - there are types of reading material other than magazines. I prefer sci-fi novels.
The only time I'll buy a magazine is if it has a cover disc with something I want on it. That's very rare.
