So Joe, how's the roadie life going? Are you taking the locals to the cleaners yet?

It's going good, not putting on as many miles as i would like, but still getting in ~120 - 150 miles a week. I have yet to ride with any other roadies, all my rides have been alone. Just trying to get a few thousand base miles before i really start training, or think about racing.

Im working on it day by day. I finaly made it up to 35mph on a sprint. Flat ground, no wind. I was excited. Last month, i had a hard time hitting 32mph. I still cant climb hills, somthing I really need to work on.

Not much, my big ring is wearing out though (ha ha). I've been working on my cornering skills in an effort to get ready to race(there are mostly crits around here). I'm looking to start racing in the July/August time frame. There aren't a whole lot of races in those months but I'm not looking for a full schedule, I just want to get an idea of where I stand. I ordered a Coda Expert saddle from Nashbar yesterday, hopefully it will fit better than my Max Flite. My rear is really starting to suffer, and I can feel the saddle cutting off blood flow.

Nice! How many miles do you have on your bike this year?

It's good to have all you erstwhile dirtbags joining the flatback ranks. Speed is fun!

BTW, my mileage for 2002, as of today's ride is 4694.05 km, or 2916.75 miles. Admittedly, that includes road and cyclocross, but the breakdown is about 75% road and 25% cyclocross.

Is that the 2002 Buenos Aires? How's the ride? I am seriously considering picking up the same model. Any suggestions or upgrades, or did you stick with the stock setup?

That's a great looking bike!

1180 or so. I've been having some problems with my computer though( hint hint, BS excuse). I haven't been getting in as many miles as I would like, but I pull a huge load at home and for me to be gone for hours everyday is pretty tough on the fam. I've started getting up at 5 am to get some miles in before work.

Yes it is a 2002 B A. It rides amazing. The bike is all stock except I put Time pedals and a WTB mountain bike saddle on it.
When I get to the shop tomorrow I will have a Selle Italia SLR XP saddle waiting for me.
