Mountain Biking - New tires came all twisted, need some input Q

Ok so my new tires came all twisted, which I'm sure is normal (wouldn't know first time changing out the tires), so they were a pain in the butt to get back on because of this. I popped a tube when I was blowing them up because of this...my carelessness. Anyways, I have them back on and both front and back tire at 30 PSI (Tires have a max of 65 PSI with a 45-55 PSI Optimal range, was going to go with 50 PSI for both tires). So my idea is to leave both tires at 30 PSI and increase it by 5 PSI every hour to let the tires form correctly. My question then is if I continue to do this til I get up to 50 PSI and then don't ride it til tomarrow around 2pm (It's 9:30pm now), will they be formed enough or should I stay off of it for a bit longer?

What kind of tires? For folding bead tires this is pretty normal -- they tend not to hold the shape like a wire bead does, and can be a little -- er, floppy -- during installation.

Don't overthink this installation. Whenever I have a loose or questionable bead seat, I air 'em up just enough to give them shape, then quickly work my way around the rim, rocking the tire carcass side to side to ensure the bead seats.

After doing this, take them up to full pressure, watching for any tube poking its way through between the bead and rim, then let the sit. Or ride them. Or whatever -- they're good to go.

These are wire beads. And I really don't know why the tube popped. Granted the tube is around 3 years old so blaming it on that because I just hit 40 PSI before it popped.

Are the wires\bead crimped?

No, just the rubber on the tire itself is all crimped up.
