Howdy.

I just picked up a AD Vent Noir II in PRISTINE condition. Any idea of what the value is? How often do these come up? Any of you own one?

I love the chromed finish with the clear coat. I was like a fish to a shiny lure when i saw this.

here's a link to BIG pics: http://www.yellowjersey.org/ebay/cvrb.html

Very cool! I've got a Vent Noir (first series), but not a VN II. They're not too common. Hard to say what it's worth... Different values to different people, but I've seen 'em go for anywhere between about $200-$500 on eBay. Ride it!

It is Mad-town, and yes, i did buy it form yellow jersey. it was a consignment. Anyone know the difference between a vent noir and a vent noir II?

Vent Noir was painted matte-black, and was equipped with a black anodized Shimano Dura-Ace group. Vent Noir II was smoked-chrome, and equipped with Campagnolo Nuovo Gran Sport. Both nice, both different.

I just had a look at your close-ups, and that is one gorgeous VNII! You did well if you got it for that eBay price. They don't usually turn up in that condition!

You should get 500 as a minimum.
I add some pictures of my vent noir (1978) witch is painted black and equipped with black dura ace.
