After many years of playing drums, and many years of never having a real band(mostly just recording and writting songs and playing with various people) Im finally starting a band. I sometimes played with a guy at my open-mic, we have jammed a few times here and there, but a few days ago things just started clicking. Now we already have two rough drafts for songs. And a few ideas for others. Now we need to find a bass and guitar player. Whats great about this is I wont just be a drummer exclusively, I also take part in the writting of some guitar parts and compositions and lay out of songs. By the time next semester starts up we will be playing shows around here. I will keep up to date and post new songs on my friends mp3 site, in my folder.
