Mountain Biking - Big Thanks to this site! Just got a Hardrock Sport.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who posts on here. With your help I decided to get a '05 satin black Specialized Hardrock Sport. As soon as I was able to get it home I took it out for a little spin and experienced my first crash. I went over the handle bars, did a somersault, landed on my feet, jumped up and let out a big "WHOOO-WHO!" It was rad! Both the bike and I came out unharmed, except my ego a bit. I'm really looking forward to getting a lot better and hitting up some trails pretty soon.
Thanks again!

Ugad13,
I am trying to decide which to get, the sport, sport disc or comp. What swayed you to get the sport?

If you have the money I'd definately go for the comp: better fork, better discs.
I decided to get the Sport mainly because of the price. I also thought that I didn't need disc brakes because I am not an experienced mountain biker yet. If I feel like my talents become greater what the V-brake offer I might upgrade to disc. But for now, the V-brakes that came on it are pretty good, at least I think so.
The only pics I have right now. I need to find a better free hosting site than the one I put my car pics on. If the pic is not linking, it is cardomain's fault.
