Are there any good roads that run alongside the Mississippi River that provide a good river view in the states of Tennessee Arkansas or Mississippi? Looking at the Great river road maps, All the roads seem to be mainly highways and are a few miles off of the river. Am I correct on this? Thanks for any input.

http://www.ahtd.state.ar.us/maps.htm I just did a generis search for"arkansas county road map " and this came up. if you scroll down,it says some of the county mapas are available in a downloadable format, all you need is the specific city or county name. I didnt go any further into it but at least its a start. most highway maps do not have any of the smaller roads on them. I have some maps made by universal maps of the backroads of indiana. they might have them for your areas as well. they are 99% complete, except for a few private gravel lanes. delorme atlas is another that has county level mapping. they are kinda expensive.around $20 or so,but the are also topographical so you can tell where the hills are! hope this helps some

your welcome.I hope you cab find more of what you need.

I too was saddened at his passing.I dont recall all of the details ,but I seem to recall some cancer. liver ,i think. plus years of rodeo raveged his body. kids think jumping bmx bikes is extream, try bellying up to a 2000 lb mountain of rage. Garth is accepting a lifetime award for the Ledoux family at the awards cerimony tonight. the will almost surely have a decent segment on the man.
