I was thinking of a new bike and the best at the price I can afford are these, Wheeler 800 and Mongoose Rockadile SX, both at the same price and service.

So, what should I buy? Here are some specs:

For my opinion it would be the Wheeler, but I ainīt shore. Just wanted some advices.

I've ridden the Mongoose. It was the first MTB I'd ever ridden (loaned to me by a friend) and I was impressed enough to go out and buy a Specialized Hardrock. The Mongoose is a good bike and I've also read a very favourable review of it in the UK mag MBR in Nov 01.
I've no experience of the Wheeler, but it loks nice:beer:

in my opinion id get a gary fisher or trek instead of either of those, mongoose you can buy at wal-mart, and ive never heard of the other one, gary fisher is the best way to go, i have one and i love it. hope this helped

I donīt have the money for a Gary Fisher but I would like to have one, and Iīve owned a nice Wheeler 555 for three years now, but it is just to little. The Wheeler has never been bothering me for other sakes then the size (itīs 16"!).
Right now Iīm going to take a vacation for two weeks, will think about the bikes and check for other opinions here when Iīll be back.
