This Thurday night in Portland Oregon.
Please join PDOT's "Traffic and Transportation" class on Thursday, May 19 for a presentation by Gordon Price, adjunct professor in the School of Community and Regional Planning at the University of British Columbia and former member of the Vancouver BC City Council. Gordon will make a presentation on the effective integration of transportation in high-density environments, with emphasis on land use.
This is a great presentation, well worth an evening of your time! He's got some interesting ideas about the inevitability of congestion, and the basis premises that most people start with when thinking about transportation.
