Every day brings something new in the world of cycling. That is what keeps it from getting dull. This morning i rode the mountain bike out into the country side for an early morning stroll. I was on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere when i popped over the hill.

There stood a thousand pound black bull that really looked like he had no intentions of moving. I have back up plans for just about everything, but a bull? I quickly considered my options.

1.Back track about 5 miles to another route home?

No time for that. Already late for work.

2. Pedal like hell and hope he moves?

Nope. Not that brave.

3. Stop and wait?

Yep. Called sheriff's office on the cellphone to report the bull was out. Good for them to know since he could stop a vehicle in it's tracks. I waited about 5 minutes and kept creaping towards him. He kept snorting and acting agitated. I kept yelling at him and finally he moved into the ditch.

I started busting it hard as i pedalled along side of him. He was running in the ditch alongside of me. I nearly crashed since the road was very rutted from the recent rains. Soon i was past him in one piece. Another day, another story....

I've seen young bulls frolic like kittens, springing up in the air, like they're light as dandelion seeds, amazing when you realize they weigh more than 1000 lbs. I'd not mess with them!

Me too.

Bulls aren't anything to mess with. I've known several people that are no longer with us because of those animals.

The title would have fit, as that's what those threads amount to.
