Hello, I just saw a link to this forum in the touring-phred mailinglist, and became curious ...

I'm commuter all the year, and I like touring, have 2 touring bikes (the newer one with speedhub), 2 road bikes and a tandem. Will study these forums later, before I'll ride for 4 weeks in Southern France :-)

Definitely, you should visit the Touring forum and interact with the people there. There are quite a few people that are goin going to France this summer.

Hello koffee,
yes -the touring forum may become my favorite area here. But for now it's too late: still have to put all the baggage together before we go by train on Friday, and we'll have our first cafe-crème in Paris at saturday morning :)
