I got WD40 on my rear disc brake by accident, HOW CAN I GET IT OFF?!?

On the pads, or just the disc? If it's just on the disc you should be able to clean it with a strong solvent like acetone, lacquer thinner, etc. I personally use denatured alcohol to clean my discs. Don't spray these solvents on! use a rag. Luckily, there are worse things you could have gotten on there.
If it's on the pads too... If it were me, I would try removing them and soaking them in DA to break down and lift out all of the WD-40. Then let them dry completely and try them out again under safe conditions. Othewise, just replace the pads.

WD40 is mostly solvent which will evaporate on its own. The rest is light oil and that will be left on the brake. Any good oil solvent will work on the disk (brake or carb cleaner). To be safe go with a new set of pads.

WD40 and all the light spray on lubricants are mainly solvent. It will come off the rotor with Soapy water, and a bit of effort. I doubt that the oil content would have penetrated far into the pads, if at all, so wash the pads well, then put back on the bike. Do a bit of hard braking to get the disc hot. (Test by spitting on it and not by hand) With luck the pads will now work. If not-- new pads.

Dirtbike, WD40 only lights up when sprayed out of a can. Actual WD40 wont light on fire.

Aliphatic Petroleum Distillates 45-50%
Petroleum Base Oil 15-25%
LVP (low vapor pressure) Hydrocarbon Fluid 12-18%
When used in an aerosol, carbon dioxide is added as propellent.
With that much distillate in it, it would catch on fire. Not like gasoline but certainly like diesel fuel or kerosene. I wouldn't use it around a torch!

Look at my post below. WD40 is only 12 to 18% low vapor pressure solvent. The rest is petroleum distillates that have a low voliatility. I'd keep it away from any parts that you don't want lubricated...like brakes ;)

Jason, i did the same thing as you when i sprayed my rear hub about two weeks ago, i kept riding the bike until it eventually wore off. I was going to get new pads from the LBS but i never got the time.

any one who has ever used WD40 to losten up rusty bolts, only to later torch them off anyway knows WD40 will burn out of the can.
as for rotor cleaning. go to your local auto parts store and get some CRC Brake Kleen. about 1$ a can and a can will last a LONG time.

just soak it in alcohol. As for the pads, wipe them off and sand them lightly. NO big deal

Umm no plain ordinary denatured alcohol will work just fine. there's no need to get ANOTHER aerosol can in the mix here. Besides that's AUTOMOTIVE brake cleaner you know where the temps are MUCH higher and the residue is burnt off

Just sand the pads and clean the rotor with denatured alcohol. Or if you're lazy, keep riding it and after a few weeks it will wear off by itself.

I've also learned that white-out is also very flammable too. :)
