What are the plans for the strip? Is it ever coming back?

Hey, that looks like the Western Flyer I just found in the trash. I won't turn my back on it.

Watterson must have biked....I always felt that the chewing gum magazine Calvin got was a parody of bicycle magazines. :p Here's a couple more, anyway...

He retired. His reasons "professionally ..there were no more mountains to climb. Creatively, my interests were shifting...toward painting. ...personally, I wanted to restore some balance to my life."

Personally I think I have too much time on my hands, not only to know this, but to know where to find the quote as well. His cycling strips were great though.

I get a daily dose of Calvin and Hobbes repeats in my email at work every morning. It's free. Go to www.ucomics.com and sign up. They make it a little difficult to get the email for free (they really want you to pay), but I'm pretty sure it's still possible.

PS: OT, but sorry for the big image. I had some evaluation software to make them smaller, but it's expired.
