Its kindof hard to read your posts, so reread what you have typed.
The R9 is a really nice frame. A solid build would be something like an 888, fox dhx, mavic deemax wheels, or mag30s, sram x.9 drivetrain.

I tried to run that through babelfish, but nothing seemed to make it more intelligible.

Jeez I was joking around! Some people can't take a good laugh every once and awhile. Go with what feels best to you, easiest to reach and something that doesn't put a hole in your wallet. Personally I would go with a Norco because they're badass, but that's just my opinion.

You should seriously consider proofreading your work before submitting it. Either that or take 4th grade English again.

You know, I'm praying for Raiyn. All I have gotten out of his posts are that he is getting a sinster frame for uner $2200 and that seems to be about it. I wouldn't even classify his spelling as "AOLese." I think this kid has taken the cake on being the worst speller, EVER.

What in the hell language is that? Some hybrid between AOL'ese ebonics and brain damaged gibberish?
If you want to be taken seriously leave the AOL'ese and whatever dialect you speak on the streets out there OFF THE BOARD and type like you actually passed an English Aptitude test.
AOL'ese is against the rules here and it also specifically sates that you are to do your BEST when it comes to spelling, grammar, etc. Typing like a crackhead WON'T cut it
You have been warned.
Goddamn spellchecker just about blew a damn fuse there

I agree, MTB on tv would be awesome. The only MTb on tv we get is the nationals on ONCE a year and what used to be on "Chili Factor".
Hey, AFL is good :D
Sinister R9=Awsome bike. When I was in Melbourne a shop let me test ride an R9 with 5th Element, 888's, XTR, Hope 6pots... all the good ****. It was the store owners race bike I think he said it cost around $15000 AUD!!!! But it felt soooooo good. Sounds like you would be getting a deal.

WTF???!!! I'm pretty sure that they still teach that all sentences should start with a CAPITAL letter, and end with a period, right? Or did you sleep through grades 1 - 6?
I'd beat your ass if you were my kid. Really.

I love rally too. :D I've got several posters in my room. I support Subaru by the way. ;) I've even got some "safety tape" or whatever that was leftover from races, one from Rally Cataluna (famous one here in Spain) and another one from a Hungarian rally. :)

You would only ever get rally on 10 and mabe SBS, and you would never ever get a Mountain Bike event, unless some big chaimionships. Only rally on 10 is 'RPM' every Sunday. Ah well, more reasons to illegally download some....

We get rally every once in a while. Like i said, the only MTB we get is the Nationals at Eildon once a year on SBS and they used to do local DH race coverage on an extreme sports show called "Chilli Factor" on ten.

Yeh i've seen the Chilli Factor before, didn't see much mtbing. Well next year we'll get the Mountain Biking at the Commenwealth Games at Lysterfeild park. Hey what am I talking about, i will be seeing it (hopefully) with my own eyes! :D
2 things.
Raiyn, I agree this guy doesn't English goodly. But I object to your use of the word "******". There is at least one member on this board (not myself) with a special needs child, and he finds this word insensitive and offensive.
Rally racing - on my trip to New Zealand, I wanted to watch the rally racing. Got up at 5, and hit the highway in my caravan. They don't trailer race cars over there, so between Auckland and wherever it was that the race started, I must have been passed by 50 race cars. Heaps of blue Subies. A most excellent way to start any day. That evening, I picked up my girlfriend (now wife) at the airport. A very memorable day. Oh, only one specator was killed that day too, which is a good day in rally racing.

As for what bike you should get is up to you. In the price range you are looking at you have many choices all of which are great bikes. Try as many different ones as you can. Yeah the bikes that are sold a race rigs have close to the same geometry but they all ride differently. If you have never realy rode a dh rig then pick one you like the look of and see if an lbs has one you can try. Just keep in mind, the dh bikes can and are used for freeride and the ones I have listed as free ride/dh can also be raced.
For strictly dh look at Intanse M3, Foes DHS mono, Santa Cruz V10, Canfield Brothers Formula 1, Turner DHR and Yeti 303. There are a few others but those would be my top pics.
For a dh/fr bike that you will be racing, Kona Stab Supream (used to be Primo), Giant Faith (have heard good things), Foes TheFly, Brodi Deamon or Devo, Elsworth Joker.

That was crap, i didn't enjoy one bit. Some of it showed them not riding their bikes, but actually pushing them. There was one downhill part which probably was the only good part about it. The rest of it was mostly on road and a little bit of dirt.

There was no Downhill. BORING! There was only XC and about 20 seconds of trials.

Its not this June you get them...its in December. And you are also not guarenteed them, let alone 5 . I have a feeling that the Commenwealth Games will be like the SBS coverage and the Olympics, XC circuits. Still, I've been up there and it seems pretty steep. Either way I cant wait :p
