Hey All,

I just registered today. I figured I should since many of my recent bike searches on Google have led me here.

I really just started cycling maybe a year and a half ago (not counting the many hours I spent on my bike as a kid). I was a competitive swimmer in high school and college and just got into triathlons last year. I finished Ironman Wisconsin last year and am insane enough to give it another go this year. So with the thousands of miles that I racked up last year, I guess I'm hooked.

This Spring, I've really taken to learning more about how my bike works. I'm pretty sure I can now strip my bike down and put it all back together without any of the screws missing or it falling apart on me afterwards. I love doing maintenance on something that I spend all these hours on. It feeds the male ego, I suppose. :)

Anyway, that's enough of an introduction I suppose. See you guys/gals on the forums.

I'm shocked that know one has responded/welcomed you yet. There are tons of people from the Twin Cities on this board. I too feed my male ego by fumbling my way through as much maintenance as I can. And I am thinking of doing the Brewhouse Triathlon this summer, but only the little one. I can't imagine being able to complete a full Ironman. Anyway, welcome to forums.

I'm shocked, too!! So, I'll say it: Welcome!!!

Hopefully everyone else is out riding today or they would replied sooner.

That would have been a really long ride! I posted initially almost a month ago. ;)

Fixed Up North: I hear that is a good race although I haven't done it myself. And I couldn't have fathomed completing an Ironman two years ago. With a little work and motivation, anything is possible!

Thanks for the greetings! :)
