New to recumbents but not bicycling. Been riding a Race Bike for some 10 years but I don't compete, it's a KHS model. I just bought a recumbent, 2002 Rans V-Rex and been mostly riding that, this summer. Know some people think one or the other is better but personally I think both have their disadvantages and advantage. I enjoy both, riding in Wisconsin, live near several Bike Paths and Bicycling designated roadways.:)
