Sorry to bother, I'm just in town for a couple days and I need access to a truing stand and probably a socket wrench. I'm really not about having other people (especially those I dont know) work on my bike, so anywhere I could jump on a truing stand for some touch-ups for like fifteen minutes to a half hour would be awesome.

Thanks All

I'd check the Times Up! space at 49 East Houston... I don't know of any "real" bike shops that will let outsiders use their tools, for liability reasons. There's also a bike cooperative in Long Island, but that's a bit harder to get to...

Yeah, I hear that, I just figured if I am paying for the use of the tools than it should be all good. Broadway Bikes in Cambridge serves up the self service for $9/hour, that's where I build my entire bike.

Stop by tonight at 49 Houston. 6:30pm. I'll be there. We have a truing stand, kinda funky but it works. I'm the movie night guy, but will gladly show you around the space.

Hey man, I was there, but I didnt feel like walking up to every person asking if the were BadAssBiker from BiFo. Thanks for the thought though. I was the kid with the Celeste Bianchi, white shirt, black beanie. I stuck around to help people out for a while, really cool place. Thanks again

Great man. And a big thanks for giving a hand to Olaf. You can see that it gets packed there on the big nights. I saw you, helping with the truing. I was sitting next to and drooling over your bike. Long hair, black hoodie, camo pants, sitting in on that meeting we threw together at the bar. Again, thanks for the help.
