I got a new bike about a week ago. When I put my front wheel back on the bike after taking it off to put on my roofrack, the brake is severely out of adjustment. Everytime the front brake is so far out of adjustment that one of the pads rests all the way on the rim. The brakes are Shimano M430 V Brakes. Can anybody think of what may be causing this?

Your wheel probably isn't all the way in the drop-outs. Release your quick release while the bike is resting on the ground. Then retighten.

Check to make sure the springs are on the post on the back of the brake. Seems simple but I've had them pop off.
