I saw him in LA...he definitely looked ready to retire.
he's only racing the puma *******? scared of trackstar in his old age.
Isn't he already retired?
And didn't he only ride the Madison at the Worlds?
And this is his swan song? Racing *ahem* Team Puma. Is he racing you one at a time or all at once...?
Msngr, Just show up and race him.
Jose R, he suppose to retire after the 6day season (Madison) . His new job is Lehigh velodrome's chief of Operations.http://www.lvvelo.org/staff.php.

You folks on the other coast are required to give full reports.
Does he not consider this a "real" race? I hope he is suprised.

Definitely! ...165, here's our own Kenny Williams edging out Nothstein at the Alpenrose Challenge in 2003. I think this is Kenny's last season on the National team but he said he was planning to continue to race regionally. His girlfriend Annette Hanson (also on the national team) is also incredible and is the women's USCF elite national champion in the individual pursuit,. I think you'll enjoy watching them race when you get here. Both are really nice folks too.

Ok, I know you have all been waiting. Marty Nothstein raced two exhibition races and won both:
1. An olympic sprint with him and homegrown sprinter Andrew Lacourte vs. 3 members of Team Puma: Carlos, Hugo, and Alfred. Marty won by about 4-6 seconds.
2. A 3 up match sprint with him, Plucky and Andrew Lacourte. Marty won by about 1.5 bike lengths.
**** was insane.

As far as I was concerned it all ended right when I won that sweet Bianchi Pista Concept in the raffle. I should get to pick it up soon. Thanks to Bucky and everyone involved with the promotion!
Blind Robert, good for you. Good contact to fix the other frame.

ceya,
thanks again for your input on the crashed Paramount. I got the insurance $ for it and nearly bought a new track bike last Friday - but didn't because I worked too late. Then I won a new track bike on Sat...doesn't get much better n' that.
