I tried something new and different last night. Uh oh, this sounds scary already. :D

When I got home I found a note from my wife telling me to go to her mother's house to do some minor household repairs and a quick trim of one of the bushes in the yard.
Normally when I get these "love" notes I clean up and change into something comfortable (shorts). Then drive the 4+ miles to her house.
Since the weather was nice I thought I'd try something different. (I hope you're all sitting down for this ;) )
I washed my face and hopped back on the commuter bike and rode (the long way) to her house.

Oh my gosh, I guess there IS hope for me.
I guess I'll have to be daring a little more often.

Now if I can just get my wife to take up riding. :(

Versatile things these two wheeled contraptions. You can ride them all kinds of places.

Ron, I know you are being a bit sarcastic here, but your behavior is simply shocking to the masses of autoculture-slaves.

That happened to me a few weeks ago when my SO and her Mom were away together. I had to go to water plants etc. so I biked and a 20km trip turned into 35km! Must have gotten lost!:D
