What a commute I had this morning! Its been windy the past few days and today was no exception. It was the strongest headwind I've ever dealt with, and it was there on my whole 5.5 mile commute. It made it feel like 10 miles. Then about half a mile from my office (if that far) I was battling the headwind as usual and I hear a dog barking... and its getting closer... and I turn my head and here is this dog tearing across the lanes coming straight for me! Tires screech and the dog narrowly avoided getting hit. Not being one to stick around to see if the dog is friendly or not, I stepped it up a notch and got away from the dog. It ran across the road *again* on its way back to wherever it came from, and again managed to not get hit.
Between the wind and the dog, my legs are sore this morning! And I'm loving every second of it. Should make for a sweet tailwind on the way home :D
