Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I was riding my bike home from tennis today (you got that right?? almost 70 years old and riding my bike home from tennis??) Anyway I saw a penny on the side of the road. I decided since I was on the bike I wouldn't bother to stop. Then I saw another penny. Then another one. I stopped and went back and picked up $1.73 worth of change.

He'll be 70 this August and still plays on the #1 court against all players at the club he belongs too. :)

A younger player asked one time how he does all that running around at his age. Dad said, "I don't run around. I just hit my shot and walk to where my opponent is going to return it." I guess there's something to be said for experience. :D

Thanks for the smile. After a really negative and mean-spirited post directed to me, it was much needed.

I hate old guys like that.

(Of course, I can't wait to become one.)

I played this guy in squash once!!!

If I had been able to make him take 4 steps per shot he would have died before the end of the match, but he only took one to where I returned it. I took about 6 per shot, one shot per corner per point, and I died.
