Its kind of stupid, but I was looking at FG for commuting and endurance riding, but I've got zero clue where to start with a bike like this.

How do you stop? I've noticed that most of the ones I'm seeing, Mercier TT on ebay - don't have a brake at all.

Think about the bikes (mostly single speeds) you rode as a kid. Bring back any memories or reveal any clues?
