Training & Nutrition - Recovery...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Ok today is interesting for recovery. For the last two days I have raced, an all out itt on Saturday and a hard crit today. My legs were really shot after the crit today and after a nice long nap and shower they are still a little sore. Other than soft pedaling the bike for 30 minutes of so are they anything specific that works well for hasening recovery after a hard set of rides, races?
Reason I ask is I am doing a simular set next weekend, but this time it is a itt (40k), a circuit race then a crit back to back to back days...
Thanks as always!

Thanks as always! Some people claim stretching and massage. Unfortunately, there is little evidence to show that either of these will enhance athletic performance. Go to the thread below and read the posts by biker-linz and ric_stern.
