Back in the 90's when I worked at the Bike Lane in San Jose and used my wages to build my T2000, I had plans to ride across America before the decade was out. A kid in a hurry changed all that when his bumper smashed into my rear wheel at about 45mph. A lot of recovery and 10+ years later, I am updating the 95 T1000 the insurance bought me and trying to peddle my 70 LB heavier body back into shape.
I live in Tacoma now, turned 55 yesterday and hope to be in good enough shape next year to ride the STP. I work for King County as a LAN Administrator.
