So, I know the helmet manufacturers and general wisdom say that if you should regularly check your helmet for damage, and not use it if it is damaged. This might be a stupid question, but is there an "acceptable" amount of damage? I only ask because I managed to take a few chunks of foam out of my Bell Ghisallo. It was sitting in the back seat of my car, with my bike sans front wheel, and got stuck in the fork. Check out the pics...have I degraded the integrity of the helmet, or am I worrying too much?
