Introductions - Hi from The Berkshires

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm aj from western Massachusetts.
I've been mtn biking for about 4 years and bought my first road bike in April. I try to ride at least 5 times a week, weather permitting, and when I'm not on a bike I like hiking and snowshoeing.
I won't say anything else because my wife posts on this site also and if she sees what I write, she'll tell you all what a big liar I am.
Thanks for making me feel welcome.

Welcome to the forum aj in ma.
Yeah, your wife told us about you on this bulletin board (just kidding..).
There are a few roadies from your neck of the woods on BF, maybe they'll show-up on this thread.
Talking about weather, I'm thinking of trading my new bike for an ark. I have never seen so much rain in my life (and I used to live in Ireland!). Anyway, welcome and keep an eye on the weather forecast...

I alredy tried the ark thing but couldn't get more than a neighbors cat and stray dog to climb aboard, so I made a rear wheel paddle for my bike. If it stops raining, at least I'll be able to use it on the muddy trails around here.

Apparently, this month is bound to enter the books as one fo the gloomiest on record. We can't even remember what that big orb used to look like. And there is another week of this ahead of us. :(

Hey Asphaltgurl, I said my wife posts here too so be careful........If she finds out I've been doing your laundry in the cellar, I'll be in deep doodoo. Oh yeah, sorry about the cat. I hope you can get all the duct tape off without hurting him.
Sorry to disappoint you Lookout. It has however been as wet here as we understand it is on your side.
